Bra Fitting Room-Bra Size Calculator

Remember these points when finding your size:
    • Trust your intuition. What makes sense to you?
    • The average increase is one size larger girth and one cup size from pre-pregnancy sizing.
    • If you have a broader back than average it will skew the numbers and the cup may come out too big.
    • If bras tend to "ride-up" in back, it generally means the cup size is not large enough and it gets pulled from the point of least resistance. I frequently see an attempt to fix this by going to a larger band size - usually because a larger cup is not available. This is incorrect!!
    • Ordering 2-3 different styles (better yet, 3-5) or a couple sizes if you are not sure will give you the best chance of finding a good fit. Be sure to try it on with pads if you are leaky and if kept in original condition they can be returned and credited to your credit card. We suggest 5-10 minutes for try on (15 minutes or more starts to show wear and may have to be discounted upon return -- a rare problem). Also be careful of deodorant stains, especially with black bras.
    • We pay the shipping from this end - your return postage is only about $1 a bra or less in quantity.

Bra Calculator

Measure:

1. Measure around the ribcage underneath your breasts.

2. Measure around at the fullest part of the bust wearing a good fitting bra (I realize this may be a silly point because you are probably here because you don't have a good fitting bra - estimate what it would be if it were not crammed into your too small bra).

3. Measure around under your arms but over the top of the breasts just where the breast tissue begins but not including any of it.

Manual Calculation

Measure:

Calculate:

1. Figure Band Size: Average #1 & #3 (add them together and divide by 2) .

2. Figure Cup Size: Subtract the band size you just figured from the fullest bust measurement. If you are between sizes go to the smaller cup size. The cup size is as follows: A=1", B=2", C=3", D=4", E=5", F=6", G=7", H=8", I=9", J=10"

3. Now that you have your cup size go up to the next band size for actual comfort in fit.

(Example: If you measure #1=35", #2=44" & #3=37". Average #1 & #3 (35+37) and divide by 2 = 36". Subtract that from #2 (44-36=8). One inch per cup size (8=H cup). Now add one band size for reality and you would begin with a 38H.)
